Thankyou to BMCC councillors for listening to the voice of the people and voting for the recommendation of Council staff to refuse development approval. And thankyou to the Council planning staff who took on board all the issues and presented a very comprehensive balanced report.
Now wouldn’t it be great if we could say thankyou to the developer for the withdrawal of the appeal in the Land & Environment Court? That would be the best outcome for everyone. Best outcome for the residents who don’t want the facility in that location and best outcome for the developer who (if this DA went ahead) would be trying to run a business in the midst of broad public opposition.

The monies raised help defray the costs for public meeting venues, printing, media, phone, our website, emails, etc. All the raffle winners have been notified and received their prizes.
